This policy explains the scope of the cookies and similar browser records on the goodbeef.com.tr and www.goodbeef.com.tr main site and the menu.goodbeef.com.tr QR menu, and how you can manage your preferences. Visiting the site or reading this text does not mean that you allow optional records to be used.

2 Cookies and similar records
Cookies are small records stored on your device through your browser. Our site also uses the browser's local storage. This policy covers local-storage records as well. Keeping a persistent record in local storage does not remove the consent and information rules.
Your preference categories, the time of your choice, its validity period, the text version and a reference record for your preference are processed. If you allow it, information that the loyalty-programme announcement has been shown is also kept on your device. These records are not used to track your visits on other sites, to build an advertising profile or to combine with the information you give in forms.
3 Records used and their legal bases
| Record name | Technology and party | Purpose | Category | Duration and legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
gbCookiePreferences | Local storage; first party, Erpol Gıda | To remember your acceptance, refusal and category choices; to prevent records you have not allowed from being activated | Necessary preference record | 180 days from your last explicit choice. Legitimate interest under KVKK Art. 5/2-f, in making the site work in line with your preferences with your rights and freedoms taken into account. |
gbLoyaltySeen | Local storage; first party, Erpol Gıda | To remember that the loyalty-programme announcement has already been shown, so the same announcement is repeated less | Optional functionality record | At most 180 days from its creation; deleted earlier if your consent ends or is withdrawn sooner. Explicit consent under KVKK Art. 5/1. |
The records in the table are used on the main site. In this version the QR menu uses no cookies or persistent browser records; its font files are served from our own server.
Durations are not renewed automatically each time you visit the site. An expired consent does not keep optional records active without a new choice from you. This version uses no analytics, advertising or marketing cookies.
No explicit consent is asked for the necessary preference record. The optional functionality record is off at the start; it is created only when you allow this category. Not allowing it does not stop you from browsing the menu, reaching branch information or using the forms.
4 Collection method and preference records
The records are obtained electronically and automatically through your browser and the cookie preference tool while you use the site. So that your preference can be applied and shown when needed, the preference reference, the category choice, the time of the action and the version of the text presented to you are recorded.
Proof records of acceptance, refusal, change and withdrawal are kept for at most one year from the date of the action, to protect a right under KVKK Art. 5/2-e; if the need ends sooner, they are deleted sooner. These records are not used for advertising or to build visitor profiles. If a specific dispute makes longer retention necessary, only the record concerned is kept, and only for as long as the dispute requires.
5 Access and transfer
The Company's authorised staff in its site and data-security processes may access preference records as far as their duties require. Sharing with hosting and technical-support providers is limited to the records and access this service requires. These operations rely on the legal bases given above for preference management and proof, and on KVKK Art. 8. Where a legally mandatory notification to authorised bodies is required, the records concerned are sent, limited to the scope of that obligation.
Cookie preferences are not sent to advertising platforms. When you click the map or social-media links on the site, you move to the site of that service; data processing and cookie use there are governed by that service's own notices. Clicking these links does not change your Good Beef cookie preferences.
6 Changing your preferences
The "Necessary cookies only" option in the banner refuses optional records. The "Accept all" option allows the optional functionality record described in this policy. Under "Manage my preferences" you can set your category preference.
With the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page you can reopen the panel and withdraw your consent. When you switch the optional record off, no new record is created and the existing one is deleted. Withdrawing consent does not retroactively change the legal assessment of earlier operations.
You can also delete or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings. If deleting them also removes your preference record, the options are shown again on your next visit; optional records stay off until you give a new consent. The necessary preference record cannot be switched off in the panel; blocking it in your browser may mean that your choice cannot be remembered.
7 Location and other permissions
The "Use My Location" feature is independent of your cookie preference. For this feature a separate notice on location use is shown and your browser's location permission is asked for separately. Accepting cookies does not give location permission, a newsletter subscription or consent to commercial electronic messages. You can use the city filter without sharing your location.
8 Your rights and contact
You can use your rights under KVKK Art. 11, including to obtain information, to have records corrected, to have data deleted or destroyed when the conditions are met, to ask that the operations concerned be notified to the recipients, to object to a result against you that arises from automated assessment, and to claim compensation for damage.
You can send your application to the address above in writing with your signature, to our KEP address, or to info@goodbeef.com.tr from the e-mail address you previously gave the Company and that is registered in our system. The other methods in the relevant Communiqué, such as a secure electronic signature or a mobile signature, can also be used. Applications are concluded as soon as possible according to their nature and within thirty days at the latest. Your statutory rights to apply and to complain are reserved.
If a new purpose or optional category is added, this information is updated before it is used; your existing consent is not extended to new purposes on its own.
